McIntyre hall
McIntyre Hall is located beneath the historic St. Basil's Catholic Church in the heart of Koreatown, Los Angeles. Founded on November 26, 1919, St. Basil's has long been a spiritual and architectural landmark in the community. Its award-winning church building, completed in 1969, received recognition from the American Institute of Architects and was specially commended by The New York Times for its remarkable modern design.
The church is renowned for its distinctive works of sacred art created by celebrated artists, including Claire Falkenstein, Božidar von Serda, Rafik Affleck, Herb Goldman, Ernest Shelton, and Franco Assetto. Together, their contributions have made St. Basil's one of the most significant examples of contemporary sacred architecture in Los Angeles.
